Great compact phone with amazing 120Hz screen. Software is another story, not a single lag. Battery life could be better, but it usually takes some time to optimize fully.(Mine is 1 day old). Camera and other features are brilliant. Quality of the sound is almost the same as on the JBL travel speaker (but quieter ofc). Buy good charger for it.

This is a brilliant phone in most respects except the camera. Although the resolution is good, photos are drab and washed out. My iPhone 12 mini which has a camera with much lower spec on paper, produces much better pictures

Battery life could be better
Camera is awesome. Lots of detail, nice colours, very snappy at taking photos. Phone feels very quick as there is no bloatware. I have already owned a Google phone before (Nexus 5X) and I always appreciate long and timely software updates. Battery life is okay, comparable with similar phones - gets me through the day just barely but I am not a heavy user. Thankfully, charging is really quick. However, I like the screen of my previous Samsung S20 FE better (nicer colours). At cca. 500 EUR I find Pixel 8 to be a great deal. It feels better in the hand + camera has bigger sensor and it has a couple of smaller advantages over cca. 400 EUR Pixe 8a.

Wenn ihr ein handy vor allem mit Fokus auf die Kamera möchtet ist dieses Handy sehr zu empfehlen. Einen Vergleich zu den High End Geräten stelle ich aufgrund des preisunterschiedes jedoch nicht auf.
