De software is even wennen
Ik heb erg getwijfeld of ik mijn Samsung S22 zou inwisselen voor deze telefoon. Die voldeed immers nog prima, behalve de batterij dan. Maar toch de sprong gewaagd en echt geen spijt. Dit is gewoon een geweldige telefoon. Hij maakt haarscherpe prachtige foto's, vooral close-up. De batterij gaat makkelijk anderhalve dag mee terwijl ik een vrij intensieve gebruiker ben. Mijn S22 gaf begin van de avond meestal de geest, deze heeft dan nog zo'n 40% over. De software van Xiaomi is even wennen: zo moest ik bv diep in de instellingen duiken om ervoor te zorgen dat mijn meldingen op het lockscreen verschenen. Maar daartegenover staat dat het lockscreen en de always-on-display grafisch prachtig en heel modern ogen - veel mooier dan Samsung, maar dat is subjectief. Ook bijzonder dat het always-on-display nauwelijks energie vreet. Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding ook dik in orde. Dus: een aanrader!

De Xiaomi 15 is precies wat ik zocht: snel, stijlvol en compact. Hij voelt premium aan, reageert snel en de camera’s zijn indrukwekkend scherp. Alles werkt gewoon moeiteloos. Geen overbodige fratsen, gewoon kracht en klasse in één strak toestel.
