1. Decide what data you want to synchronise
This refers to how you set up what data needs to be stored in your Google-account.

Go to settings on your Android phone by tapping on the gear-icon;

Go to 'Accounts & Backup' and select the Google-account that you will use for your backup;

Tap 'Synchronise account' and specify which data you want to synchronise by selecting this.
You have now determined what data needs to be stored in your Google Account.
2. Make a backup on your Android device
This way, all your data is stored online in your Google Account, so you can transfer it to your iOS device later.

Go to Settings on your Android device and select 'Google';

Select the Google account that you have used for your backup;

Tap 'Make backup' and tap one more time on 'Make backup now'.
Your data is now saved in your Google account.
3. Transferring backup to your iPhone
Now, take your iPhone or other iOS device.

On your Apple device, go to 'Settings' and choose 'Mail';
